If you have found your way to me, then you most likely have something on your mind or a problem that is troubling you.
Good on you for taking the first brave step towards looking into those concerns.

Mental Health….. what a tricky topic. We know what to do with physical health but not so much with our mental health.
Our most common concerns are -
Relationships. Having trouble with someone else or not being able to make good relationships. Or you may have lost a close relationship and find yourself in grief.
Being busy. Being busy is the biggest indicator of avoiding our emotions. The feeling of ‘doing more' or ‘being more’. But is it coming at a cost to your physical & mental health?
Negative self talk. Putting ourselves down. Feeling that we are not ‘good enough’.
Overwhelmed. Life (and the world) can make us feel like this. Uncertainty upsets us and we want to be more ‘in control’.
Controlling parents. You may feel that you couldn’t do what you wanted or be how you wanted to be, possible from your parents. We can explore what this is and find out how and why it happened.

You may also be feeling sad, angry, frustrated, stressed, lonely, depressed, anxious or just feeling lost and not yourself any more? Possibly you have a past trauma that is unresolved or a relationship that is not quite working out?
All of these are normal people feelings and experiences.

As a professional counsellor & therapist, I sit with you, listen, understand your position, connect with you, and give you a safe space to be seen and heard.
Then together we can explore how life is for you and get to know who you really are.
I listen to your story and ask questions in a way that is compassionate, non-judgmental, safe and confidential.
