If you have found your way to me, then you most likely have something on your mind or a problem that is troubling you.
Good on you for taking the first brave step towards looking into those concerns.

What concerns can I help you with?
Grief, loss & bereavement (including suicide bereavement).
and
Psycho-Dynamic Therapy
Do you feel stuck, not feeling like yourself or you can’t be your normal self?
Do you have relationship concerns, negative self talk, procrastinate, think the worst will happen, uncertain about the future, low self-esteem, worried, feel stressed, anxious about social situations, nervous, busy thoughts, frustrated, feeling alone (even when you have people around you), a traumatic childhood or event happen in your life?
Then, I can help you explore what is going on.
We spend time looking at your complete history, your life story. What may be going on for you now is most likely connected to your story.
This can be a life changing, eye opening experience and may explain where your mental health issues have come from.

My counselling approach starts with listening to your concerns and making sure you are safe. Then we can work together on finding ways to understand more about what is going on for you.
I listen to your story and ask questions in a way that is compassionate, non-judgmental, safe and confidential.

Why choose a counsellors and not a psychologist?
Counsellors are qualified professionals. We are non clinical and do not diagnose. This means we are more interested in you, the person and helping you understand who you are and what your life story is.
In many cases, a counsellor may be a better starting place. You do not need a GP referral to see a counsellor and they will usually be available and affordable.
